On January 12th, Terrapreta was invited by Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore to present its five-year journey in transforming Nature-based Solutions (NbS) into reality with students of the Master's in Cultural Projects. The session explored how complex ecosystem restoration initiatives are built on a foundation of scientific expertise, strategic partnerships, and compelling storytelling.

Drawing on experiences from our pilot project Osservatorio La Goccia—a life-laboratory in Milan tackling soil bioremediation and forest restoration—Stefano Zoli highlighted the critical role that collaboration plays in scaling environmental impact. The presentation underscored that successful Nature-based Solutions require more than technical expertise; they demand skilled communicators and coordinators who can mobilize diverse stakeholders and translate scientific complexity into actionable narratives.

For students entering the field of cultural project management, the session demonstrated that environmental restoration and cultural initiatives share a fundamental challenge: turning vision into sustainable, measurable impact through networks of partners.

Terrapreta extends special thanks to Ivana Vilardi for the invitation and facilitation!
