Terrapreta was invited by the architecture studio Park Associati to give a presentation on landscape restoration and Soil-based Solutions at Park Stage – a stimulating environment for sharing ideas and experiences on architecture, landscape, and territories.

Soil is the foundation of all terrestrial ecosystems because it sustains life above and below ground. In addition, it plays a key role in climate change mitigation by supporting biodiversity, sequestering carbon, and regulating the water cycle.
Through Terrapreta’s projects and research, the lecture explored how soil health can serve as a cost-effective strategy to restore degraded landscapes, address climate change, and enhance biodiversity.
